I want to know how to install the JDBC XA driver in a cluster and make i
cluster aware.
Thanks,
Padron
You don't. You just have to cluster MS DTC, and then Authorize XA and/or
TIP transaction types in the security dialogs that come with Win2K3 SP1.

There also seems to have been a bug in earlier 2005 releases:

Hope this helps.

JDBC not connecting to SQL Server
Installing Integrity Server on MS Server 2003 but having problems when Specifing the Database, prior to this install i've already installed JDBC driver on this server version 3.
At this stage of install of the Integrity Server its trying to connect to the SQL Server (SQL Enterprise Manager V8 with SP3 on MS Server 2003)which is sitting in the same Domain. An Error appears
" A problem was encountered when trying to connect to the database JDBC.

Hi. The driver is installed fine. This usually means the DBMS you're connecting to
is either not listening for tcp connection requests, or listening on a different port
number than the one you gave in the URL.

JDBC Driver for SQL Server 2005
Can any version of the SQL Server 2000 JDBC driver connect to SQL Server 2005 or do I have to install the new JDBC version 1.1 to connect to my 2005 instance?
Using the SQL Server 2000 JDBC driver to connect to SQL Server 2005 is not a supported scenario. We highly recommend using the SQL Server 2005 JDBC driver to leverage the new capabilities of SQL Server 2005. The latest v1.2 beta version along with the v1.1 version are available for download at http://msdn.microsoft.com/data/jdbc
