job security

I tried to search throughout BOL, but did not find any help on this:
who can start a job? what rights should the user have?

zarkoTo start a job a user needs permissions on the sp_startjob stored procedure
in msdb. By default the publice role has exec permission on that stored
procedure, so every user can start a job.

>|||You can find the permissions needed in books online under
sp_start_job. A user who is a sysadmin can start any job. A
non-sysadmin can start jobs that they own.
